27 January 2026
On 27 January 2026, the BRIDGE Project has brought together key IT Platform Providers from the Combined Transport sector in an insightful exchange on the current activities and developments in digitalisation.
The workshop provided an opportunity for the BRIDGE Project to present its preliminary results from the sector-wide survey launched in November 2025. Dr Roland Klüber presented these results, providing us with an initial overview of the current situation regarding digitalisation and data exchange in Combined Transport.
Each participant was then invited to present their company, its current developments and innovations, and the challenges they are currently facing. Following the presentations, we opened the floor to a round-table discussion about the future of IT support until 2030.
For the BRIDGE Project, engaging with ICT providers was a crucial step, as they are key players in the digitalisation of the sector. This allowed us to gain more insight into current trends and potential scenarios for the next couple of years.
For further information on the discussion, the slides presented, and the results of the surveys we conducted during the working group, please refer to the documents below.
